The Evil inside
Mangled and distorted a face with no name. Misinterpreted, it never had a chance. A face mirroring the memories of the past looks back. It looks back, staring through the light in the pupils of an eye. It swiftly sucks the light out, until all is black, completely black. Now even the brightest light can’t pierce through the dark. This is Evil.
A face is now scared, it can’t be changed; Evil has won. At least Evil thinks it won. Evil consumes your body hindering it incapable of love. It breaks you down until nothing can be broken down any farther, and then it crushes you, completely obliterating you forever.
There is one simple answer to all of this. Evil as some may call him is in everyone. He haunts, stalks, and preys on the weak and only the powerful and stable can overtake him. But even controlling or seemingly destroying Evil won’t rid him forever. He is a camouflaged figure mirrored in the background of the minds of all and will remain there till human life departs.
Can this simply indestructible demon be stopped? Is Evil in all of us, starring, snarling back in the mirror, just waiting to pounce?
*This is taken from the part on page 51 where the guy asks to see his face and I thought about the questions above. I tried to show Evil as a person, like the duality between a person and their inner self.*
Hey Bay!
