I’ll be

The look in your eyes that drown them in hated
Stop me and make me think.
And painful regrets thrust towards the heavens
Never revealing the truth.
Show me that you can be changed,
Read up on how to trust me
I’ll be supportive,
I will never leave you,
Unlike the people who judge their way through life.

I’ll be a devil killer,
I’ll be satin’s match
I’ll be forever in your heart,
I’ll be the only man in your life.

*A parady to I'll be by EdwinMcCain. It's a profession of Jekyll's love to Hyde (the first part) It is suppose to be a funny composition that fits into the melody of the song I'll be.*

  1. You have a really interesting outlook on what this book is likes so far, very thought-provoking. I think your last verse is when the point comes across, and the reader realizes your point and inevitably also the point of the book. The way that last verse was phrased really made the point of the story clearer, nice job.

  2. You have a different interpretation of the book than I think most people do. I'm beginning to understand how Jekyll can have a strong feeling towards Hyde just by reading the poem. Awesome job.
